If night photography is your thing, then Saloma Bridge is the hottest night spot in KL for 2021! After taking pictures of another night icon, the PETRONAS Twin Towers, getting there is easy as the bridge is located at the back of Menara Public Bank. Going to Saloma is approximately 10 minutes walk from the front of the PETRONAS Twin Towers.

About Saloma Bridge

Saloma Bridge is 69 metres (226 ft) combined pedestrian and bicyclist bridge across the Klang River in Kuala Lumpur. The purpose of this bridge is to connect Kampung Baru and Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC) as it will only take seven to eight minutes to get from one end to the other.

The bridge’s architecture is inspired by the sireh junjung (betel nut leaf arrangement) concept, which is an integral part of a Malay wedding. The concept of this bridge is also similar to the Bridge of Peace in Tbilisi, Georgia where the LED lights illuminate to change patterns from time to time. The lights of the bridge change for any celebration or holidays which Malaysia has many!

Saloma Bridge is the most exquisite pedestrian bridge ever built in Kuala Lumpur and is already a popular tourist attraction in KL City nightlife.

How to get to Saloma Bridge

There are two ways to get to the Saloma Bridge and it depends on which part of KL you are located at.
