What to Expect
This immersive tour begins with a scenic ride to Cam Thanh village, followed by a unique journey on basket boats along the Thu Bon River. You’ll witness the daily lives of local fishermen, try your hand at crabbing and net casting, and join in on fun and skillful performances like the famous “shaking basket boat.” Surrounded by the tranquil green coconut forest, you’ll also learn to make charming souvenirs from coconut leaves. The tour ends with a relaxing local lunch and time to unwind in traditional huts or hammocks before heading back.

Itinerary
07:30 – 08:30: Our driver and tour guide pick you up at hotel lobby, move to Cam Thanh coconut village
09:00: Transfer to the basket and go along the Thu Bon River for reaching to Bay Mau coconut forest to admire the scenery both sides of the river and the local people’s living activities.
10:00: Starting the journey to explore the Bay Mau coconut forest: learn how to row the basket boat, fishing crab, how to throw the net for catching fishes, how to make the hat, grasshopper, rings etc. by coconut leaves and save all memories with these green beauty of coconut forest Cam Thanh.
You will see fantastic performances, shaking basket boats and throwing the net for fishing.
12:00: Lunch at the restaurant and rest on the hut or hammock or leafy house
14:30: Our driver brings you back to your hotel. Tour ends. Good bye and see you again!
