Surf Rod and Reel: Longer rods (9-12 feet) are ideal for casting beyond the breaking waves.
Terminal Tackle: Bring hooks, sinkers, and swivels. Pyramid sinkers are popular for holding bait in place.
Bait and Lures: Use natural baits like shrimp, squid, and sand fleas or artificial lures designed for saltwater fishing.
