Due to the nature of the terrain, this hike is best enjoyed with the support of an experienced guide who manages pacing, navigation, and on-trail safety. Some sections of Gunung Perak are less developed and lightly maintained, with fallen trees and minimal trail markings. However, with a knowledgeable guide leading the hike, you can focus on enjoying the journey while navigation and route decisions are handled professionally.
This guided hike is suitable for hikers with reasonable fitness who are comfortable with forest terrain. Beginners may still participate as part of a guided group, provided you are physically prepared.

- The standard MGP guide-to-hiker ratio is 1:7.
- If your group has more than 7 participants, additional guides will be required to maintain the mandated safety ratio.
