Itinerary

DAY 1: Hanoi – Sapa Town – Cat Cat Village (L,D)

• 6:00-6:30: Pick up at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or meeting point, get on bus and depart for Sapa Town. We drive on Hanoi – Lao Cai Express way, there are 2 rest stops.
• 13:30: Arrive at Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic people. And wait at the bus station for the tour guide and driver to pick you up to the hotel and have lunch.
• 14:30: Take a short walk to the gate of Cat Cat village, which is the home of Black H’mong ethnic people. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photos with the bridge and waterfall; then you will walk up hill for the bus to pick you up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon. The trekking distance is about 2.5km and it lasts for 2 hours.
• 17:00: Come back to Sapa Town. Have dinner at local restaurant then overnight at Sapa Town hotel with 3-star standard room.

Day 2: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B,L,D)

• 7:00-8:30 Have breakfast at the hotel and waiting for tour guide and car coming.
• 8:30-8:45 Trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. The trekking distance is about 12km and it lasts for 4 hours.
• 12:00 – 13:30 Have lunch with delicious Vietnamese dishes made by the family. In the late afternoon, you arrive at Ta Van Village – home of the Dzay ethnic group.
• 15:30 The tranfer car will pick you up to come back to Sapa Town.
• 18:00 Have diner at local restaurant. In the evening, you have free time to discover night activities in Sapa Town. You can enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Especially on Saturday night, we highly recommend a stop at the Love Market which is one of unique cultures of ethnic minorities HMong, Dzao in Lao Cai in particular and North West of Vietnam in general.

Day 3: Fansipan peak – Hanoi (B,L)

• 7:00 – 8:30 Have breakfast at the hotel, check out the room.
• 8:30 After breakfast, our driver will take you to Cable Car Station and then you will spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Reach the altitute of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos).
• 12:00 Come back to Cable Car Station and return to Sapa town.
• 12:30 – 13:30 Have lunch at local restaurant.
• 13:30 – 14:45 Relax and enjoy yourself, and if you want, take a shower in the hotel’s public bathroom.
• 14:45 – 15:00 Meet all the group members at the hotel to get ready for Hanoi.
• 16:30 Get on the bus to go back to Hanoi with two rest stops.
• 21:30-21:45 Arrive Hanoi, and go back to your hotel by yourself.

• We just can pick up from hotel in Old Quarter area, in case your hotel is outside, please come to meeting point – we will give you when confirming. The drop off after tour is not included, you should come to hotel from Bus office by yourself.
• Children, old people, or any one with low physical health are not allowed to join the tour, due to the long trek and danger in case of rain.
• Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any requirement, food request
• Single supplement for solo traveler and anyone wants to stay in single room: 300,00 VND/room/night (13.0USD). Upgrade of room can be done with extra cost and depended on hotel’s availability.
• We have 4-stars hotel option available, please check with us before making reservation.
• Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong for personal expenses.
• You should bring warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September till March.
