Looking for an escape into nature where adventure meets serenity? The Susung Waterfalls & Kampung Sting Trekking tour by MyRehat promises an unforgettable journey through lush greenery, majestic waterfalls and breathtaking viewpoints. Perfect for individuals, couples or groups, this guided tour is an immersive experience that captivates you with the natural beauty of Siburan, Kuching.

Itinerary Overview (Day Tour)

  • 8:30 AM – Your adventure begins with a warm welcome from your tour guide at the meeting point. After introductions and a quick briefing, you’ll embark on a one-hour scenic drive to Bengoh Dam. The ride offers a sneak peek of Sarawak’s tranquil countryside—rolling hills, quaint villages and lush greenery greet you along the way, building up the anticipation for what lies ahead.

  • 9:30 AM – At Bengoh Dam, a traditional boat awaits to whisk you away. As you glide across the still, mirror-like waters, surrounded by towering hills, you’ll feel the everyday stresses melt away. This half-hour boat ride sets the perfect tone for the adventure to come.

  • 10:00 AM – Once ashore, the trek begins! With each step along the trail, nature unfolds in its raw beauty. The path leads through dense rainforest, a canopy of green overhead filtering soft sunlight. Along the way, your guide shares fascinating stories and insights about the region, its people and the environment.

As you climb higher, you’ll reach Kampung Sting Viewpoint, a hidden gem often referred to as “Jurassic Park” due to its ancient flora and sweeping views. From here, gaze over the dramatic landscapes—rolling hills, shimmering waters of the dam and endless greenery. It’s a sight worth every bead of sweat.

  • 12:00 PM – The trail winds further to reveal nature’s masterpieces: the waterfalls. First, you’ll encounter Paen Waterfall, a gentle cascade that invites you to pause and refresh. Next comes the uniquely named Curtain Waterfall, where water flows in delicate streams, resembling flowing curtains. And finally, the main event: Susung Waterfall. Its thunderous cascades plunge into a crystal-clear pool, perfect for a revitalising swim. The cool water and pristine surroundings offer a moment of pure bliss.

  • 2:30 PM – Hunger sets in, but don’t worry—you’re in for a treat. If you’ve opted for the meal package, enjoy a delicious local spread prepared just for you, served by the waterfalls. Alternatively, you can visit the Small Hut Café, a simple eatery nearby offering authentic flavours. Savour the moment, relishing good food amidst the sounds of rushing water.
  • 4:00 PM – As the adventure winds down, it’s time to retrace your steps. The return trek, boat ride and scenic drive back to Kuching are filled with reflections on a day well spent. You’ll leave with tired legs but a heart full of memories.
